sé sin
Cén áit sa Spidéal a bhfuil sé sin? I have been asked several times if this sentence from page 19 (Dialogue 4) has a typo. Some students want to know if it should be "é sin". "Sé sin" is correctly used here. Both sé sin and é sin are demonstrative pronouns. Sé sin here is used with the bí verb (a bhfuil) as is always the case for sé. "É sin" would be used with the copula.
