In the Key to Exercises for Unit 8, Number 1 & 4 incorrectly have "Ar" as the question words in Exercise 3. These should be "An".

A student from Hawai'i has correctly pointed out that there is a typo in Exercise 2 on page 6. 3.c. should read "Go raibh maith agat." That is raibh with a b and not a t.

Go raibh maith agat, a Sheáin!

sé sin

Cén áit sa Spidéal a bhfuil sé sin? I have been asked several times if this sentence from page 19 (Dialogue 4) has a typo. Some students want to know if it should be "é sin". "Sé sin" is correctly used here. Both sé sin and é sin are demonstrative pronouns. Sé sin here is used with the bí verb (a bhfuil) as is always the case for sé. "É sin" would be used with the copula.
